ELECTRICAL CONTROLS & INSTRUMENTATION
- Project: Upgrade of the operating
controls and feed water instrumentation for an industrial power
boiler (PB4) recently converted from a process recovery boiler.
This project involves the replacement of the entire original pneumatic
and analog, electronic instrumentation with new digital field transmitters.
Additional controls have been added to the feed water supply system.
A new Foxboro CRT operator interface and I/A distributed control
system replace the original operator controls. The total number
of instrument loops to be upgrades is approximately 100. The design
for this project has been completed and is awaiting implementation.
